BoomData, a leading Australian consultancy in data management and analytics, today announced that it has further expanded its data governance for AI capabilities with the appointment of Matthew Harris as Principal Consultant in its rapidly growing Data Management team.
This strategic hire reinforces BoomData’s commitment to helping mid-to-large enterprises unlock the full potential of their data. With increasing demand for trusted data governance and master data management (MDM) frameworks – particularly as businesses embrace AI – Harris will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering modern, scalable, and AI-ready data strategies for BoomData clients.
With over 14 years of international experience, Harris brings deep technical expertise and business acumen, having held senior leadership roles at global data consultancies, including Amplifi and Viqtor Davis in the UK. He will lead BoomData’s initiatives across data governance, MDM, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and the design of next-generation AI-enabled data ecosystems.
